Sea-Tac is completely smoke-free indoors, and e-cigarette use is prohibited throughout the airport. Three outdoor smoking areas are available before security: on the departures level outside Doors 33 and Door 5, and on the arrivals level outside Door 00. There are no smoking facilities after security. Connecting passengers must exit to the landside, smoke outdoors and clear security again.
