Before Security
Landside, smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas outside the terminal buildings. There are no indoor smoking rooms before security. If you need a cigarette after check-in but before going through security, you will need to step outside the terminal entrance. Re-entry rules are not officially published, so factor in extra time if you plan to smoke landside and then return through security.
After Security
This is where Antalya stands out. All three terminals offer open-air smoking terraces accessible after the security checkpoint, which the airport itself describes as available in "very few airports worldwide." Each terrace faces the apron and runway, giving you a direct view of aircraft movements while you smoke.

Transit and Layovers
If you are transiting through AYT and remain airside, you can access the smoking terrace in whichever terminal you are in without any additional cost or lounge membership. This is a genuine perk for long layovers.
Bottom Line
