Help travelers. Submit airport reports. Earn rewards.

The SmokingAirports.com Contributor Program lets travelers earn rewards by submitting useful, real-world information about airport smoking areas.

Airport smoking areas often change, move, close, or become hard to find. Official airport websites are not always clear, so we rely on real travelers to help keep our airport guides accurate and practical.

When the program launches, registered contributors will be able to pick available airport tasks, submit photos and directions, and earn Contributor Credits for approved reports.

Approved submissions will earn a minimum reward equivalent to 10 USD in credits.

How it works

1. Register

Create a free SmokingAirports.com contributor account.

Once the program is live, registered users will be able to access the contributor task board.

2. Pick a job

Choose an available airport task from the job board.

Each task will show:

• The airport

• The requested smoking area or location

• The type of information needed

• The reward amount

• Whether the area is before or after security

• Any special access notes

Some tasks may require access to areas after security, airport lounges, or specific terminals. Only accept tasks you can safely and legally access.

3. Submit your report

For most tasks, you will need to submit:

• 1 photo inside the smoking area

• 1 photo from outside the smoking area

• 1 photo from farther away, showing where the area is located

• A short description

• Clear directions for other travelers

Your report should help someone quickly understand where the smoking area is, how to reach it, and what to expect.

4. Get reviewed

Our team will review each submission before approval.

We check:

• Photo quality

• Accuracy

• Originality

• Location clarity

• Usefulness of directions

• Compliance with airport rules and privacy guidelines

Approved reports earn Contributor Credits.

5. Earn credits and redeem rewards

Approved submissions will earn Contributor Credits.

The minimum reward for an approved submission will be the equivalent of 10 USD in credits.

Credits will be redeemable for selected gift cards and travel-related rewards. Planned reward options may include popular platforms such as:

• Amazon

• Apple

• Google Play

• Booking.com

• Airbnb

• Expedia

• Agoda

• Trip.com

• Uber

• Grab

• Airport lounge access

• Airport services

• Travel platforms

• Frequent flyer or travel-related rewards where available

Available rewards may vary by country, currency, and partner availability.

Contributor rules

To keep the program useful and safe, all contributors must follow these rules.

Submit original content only

Photos and information must be collected by you.

Do not upload photos from Google, airport websites, social media, review websites, or other online sources.

Follow airport rules

Always respect airport rules, local laws, and photography restrictions.

Do not enter restricted areas, ignore staff instructions, or photograph places where photography is not allowed.

Avoid sensitive areas

Do not photograph:

• Security checkpoints

• Immigration

• Customs

• Police or military staff

• Screening machines

• Staff-only areas

• Passports

• Boarding passes

• Personal documents

Avoid photographing people

Photos should focus on the smoking area, signs, entrances, and airport landmarks.

Avoid visible faces, children, airport staff, and private situations whenever possible.

Be accurate

Do not guess or invent directions.

Only submit information you personally verified. If something is uncertain, explain it clearly.

Submit complete reports

Most tasks require 3 photos, a description, and directions.

Incomplete, blurry, copied, misleading, or unsafe submissions may be rejected.

Rewards require approval

Credits are awarded only after a submission is reviewed and approved.

Rejected submissions do not earn credits.

SmokingAirports.com does not reimburse flights, transport, lounge access, food, visas, or other travel costs.

Program status

The Contributor Program has not launched yet.

We are preparing the first airport tasks, contributor accounts, and reward system.
